AiToWords Privacy Policy

Core boundary: Markdown parsing and Word generation primarily run in your browser. Text pasted into the editor is not sent to an AiToWords server merely because you convert it to Word.

1. Document content

Local conversion: parsing, preview and .docx generation primarily happen on your device.
No document-content database: AiToWords does not maintain a server database for your pasted AI conversations, document body or generated file.
External resources: if your content references remote images, fonts or other resources, your browser may request them from the relevant third party.
Local drafts: drafts and preferences may be stored in localStorage/sessionStorage and can be removed by clearing site data.

2. Google Analytics 4

Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you choose to accept optional analytics and advertising services. We use it to understand page and feature usage, diagnose failures and improve the product.

Analytics may include page URL/title, referrer or traffic source, session information, browser/device category, approximate region, and product events such as clicks, first input, paste, example loading, export start, export success or failure.

We do not send the pasted document body or full AI conversation as GA4 event parameters.

3. Google AdSense

AiToWords includes Google AdSense integration code and may be under review or serving ads. Ad-related scripts are loaded only after consent. Whether ads actually appear depends on Google's review status, region, browser settings and ad availability.

When advertising is enabled, Google may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies for ad delivery, frequency control, fraud prevention and measurement, subject to Google's policies.

4. Cookies and local storage

The site stores your privacy choice and some product preferences locally. Choosing Essential only prevents optional Google Analytics and advertising services from loading. Choosing Accept analytics & ads allows those optional services. You can reset this choice by clearing site data in your browser.

5. Hosting and security logs

Third-party hosting/network providers may process ordinary access logs such as IP address, User-Agent, request path and timestamp for security, reliability and troubleshooting.

6. External links

Links to AI platforms, office software, Google services and other third parties are governed by those third parties' own privacy practices.

7. Sensitive information

AiToWords does not require an account. Even though core conversion is local, avoid pasting passwords, API keys, identity documents, medical records, confidential business information or other sensitive material unless necessary.
